The Fredonia Jazz Festival Returns!

Saturday, November 14, 2026

Join Us for a Full Day of Jazz in Fredonia

The Fredonia Jazz Festival returns Saturday, November 14, bringing together exceptional professional artists, outstanding college musicians, talented high school improvisers, and some of the region's leading jazz educators for a full day of performances, masterclasses, and musical collaboration.

This year's festival is presented in collaboration with the 1891 Fredonia Opera House and in tandem with Fredonia Day of Jazz, creating new opportunities for young musicians and the broader community to experience jazz education and performance side by side.

Featuring Camille Thurman & Darrell Green

The festival culminates with an evening performance by acclaimed saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Trio at 7:30 PM at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House.

Thurman is an internationally recognized saxophonist, vocalist, composer, and bandleader whose work bridges the traditions of jazz with a distinctly contemporary voice. Darrell Green is a master drummer, bandleader, educator, and composer whose playing draws on modern post-bop, gospel, classical, Latin, and West African traditions.

Fredonia Jazz Society supporters receive a special $40 ticket price for the evening concert.
